The public hot-spring bath is available from 05:00 to 11:00 and from 15:00 to 01:00 (next day). Please note, the outdoor swimming pool is available between May and October. Guests without a meal plan who want to eat dinner at the hotel must make a reservation at least 2 day in advance. Kaiseki, a traditional multi-course Japanese meal will be served for guests with a half board inclusive plan. If you are arriving later than 18:00, please inform the property in advance. When booking 5 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements may apply. Please contact the property directly for more details. Guests with children must inform the property at time of booking. Please specify how many children will be staying with you and their respective ages in the special request box. "Exceptional"

The staff are amazing. Attentive and friendly from before we even walked in the door. They made every effort to look after us. The infinity pool did not disappoint. The views and condition of the onsen pool were exquisite and created a relaxing yet exciting atmosphere. Dinner at Nagi was delicious. The beef especially and the sashimi. A massive surprise was a pianist performing a short sweet set as we relaxed in the lobby after dinner. A lovely end to the night.

Bugs in the room…could be inevitable in this mountain area Location is upon the mountain with a wonderful view but not near the beach and downtown. it's up to your choice

Onsens we’re amazing. Location amazing. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Buffet breakfast was excellent.

Wifi dropped out halfway through our stay.

"Comfortable onsen type hotel with panoramic views"

It's on top of a hill with panoramic views of Shirahama so that was lovely. However, if one has no car then it's a complete pain to get anywhere. The breakfast was extensive with lots of western and japanese choices which was great. The Japanese kaseki style dinner was very tasty too.

It's a Japanese onsen type hotel made up in an Italian or European style. However, the facilities are looking slightly tired and it was bizarre that the swimming pool closes early. This did not affect us as we were planning on an onsen style experience but for people who wanted sunshine by the pool or those with children then this may be an annoyance.

"worth to stay there end enjoy the great view and the good service"

This is for sure not a 5 star hotel as indicated on booking.com. However the service is exzellent. Everyone tries hard to fulfill customer´s expectations - this compensated for the missing comfort of a 5 star resort. The rooms with an on-sen have a marvelous view over the ocean and having an own on-sen is real fun! The restaurant prepares great meals - breakfast & dinner worth eat there If you want to get somewhere else they organize their hotel shuttle to get you there rather then calling a cab. They also take care about pick ups. Very helpful in an area where few people speak English!

On booking it is indicated as a 5 star resort - which the hotel definitely isn´t. To become one the entire resorts needs to be renovated e.g the pool area or the changing rooms rather look like 20 years ago. But as said above - the service provided compensates a lot
