The room is actually not bad.

- As soon as we arrived the owner and some of his friends were sitting in the yard very drunk. They forgot to prepare our room before our arrival and the owner was laughing about it because he was so drunk. One of his friends was rude while trying to make an offensive joke to us. - Paper thin walls so lots of noise from the little drunk party the owner was having with his friends drinking whiskey. They were so drunk to the point where they handed me the legal papers of their cars and a bike helmet for no reason. - Dangerous for solo travelers.

Très bien situé juste devant la plage, à proximité de quelques restaurants, les chambres sont basiques mais super propres et confortables, le tout dans un cadre agréable entouré de verdure. On a passé une super nuit, c’était parfait pour notre petit étape à Batticaloa.

It is just across from the beach. The beach is fine for swimming, at least when I was there in August/September. There are shore beakers, but once you get past them, it is calm. We had a delicious vegan breakfast that included fresh fruits and salads. The place has a lovely atmosphere.

You should be prepared that there is quite a bit of litter on the sand.

Génial, l’établissement est super, l’hôte est très sympathique et le petit déjeuner génial. Je recommande à 100%.

L’hôtel est charmant et vraiment accueillant. Les bungalows sont bien conçus, d’une propreté irréprochable et particulièrement agréables. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil, serviable et toujours prêt à s’adapter à vos besoins. Enfin, le gros avantage : la plage est juste en face, d’un accès tellement facile qu’on en profite pleinement.

Deze accommodatie ligt op een prachtige plek, aan het strand in een rustig gedeelte van de stad (helaas, de branding is op die plek zo sterk dat je niet in zee kan zwemmen). De kamers waren voor ons comfortabel genoeg en er was een goede airco. Wat ons het meest is bevallen is de aandacht en behulpzaamheid van onze host, die allerlei dingen voor ons uitzocht, voor ons regelde en ons ook naar een restaurant bracht (en weer haalde).

De prijs van de accommodatie was exclusief ontbijt en eerlijk gezegd vond ik het ontbijt wat overpriced in relatie tot restaurants e.d. in de omgeving. De prijs was heel eerlijk en transparant naar ons gecommuniceerd en wij hebben er verder niet over onderhandeld. Het ontbijt was verder prima verzorgd.

Logement propre et lit confortable. L emplacement est idéal si vous souhaitez vous rendre à la place. Personnel très sympathique
