Panoramic Royal Villa

Down a lane next to the paddy fields, a 10 min walk from ‘town‘ sits two generous and well appointed guest rooms looking over the garden. A perfect spot to spend a night before or after lion rock. My hosts son does mini safaris at a very reasonable cost. Unforgettable memories made.

Nicest persons we met so far. The location was really nice with an amazing view. The little terrasse in front of the room was very suitable for breakfast or dinner. The host never push for activities. Food was really good dinner or breakfast. This place had all we needs We recommand you to book a bycicle to visit the surrounding

The shower head was blocked and had a weak flow on the electric shower.

Very nice and friendly hosting family. They cooked really good dinner for us. Quiet place with good view of the Lions Head. The son of the host offers a jeep Safari to see the Elephants in the national park nearby. We enjoyed the safari even more than Yala NP. It was not crowded at all.

This little Homestay in Sigiriya is iconic! Our hosts couldn’t possibly have done more to make us feel welcome. They greeted us on arrival and showed us our comfortable room with fab AC. 5 minutes and it was cooled down in there. You then walk out on the veranda to an incredible view of Lion’s Rock. Amazing. The host provided great recommendations (he actually planned most of our days for us) - everything was perfect. He would drive us into Sigiriya (he insisted!) and organised our safari and scooter for the day. We ate there one night, and enjoyed an amazing family meal which was delicious. If you want value for money in Sigiriya - stay here!

Bit of a long walk into town, albeit mitigated by the host driving us into town/hiring a scooter.

Very nice family who helped to arranged our elephant safari jeep and provided us with breakfast everyday.

We were warmly welcomed with a drink. The room is very big and the bed is comfortable. It was very nice to sit in the Veranda to enjoy the panoramic view and the Sigiriya Rock. The staff and owners are so friendly people making you feel welcome. I would come again. Great experience!

Stunning view from the porch and garden directly to lion's rock. Nice garden with hammock birds and monkeys. Extremely friendly hist family. They have a car and a tuk tuk and bring you anywhere you want at a very good price. They are always available by WhatsApp if you need anything.
