Horizon KiteSurfing Beach Resort

I have booked through booking com web site and got the immediate confirmation. I went as shedule to Horizen and at the check in point they informed me that rooms are not available and they told they informwd to booking com also.i went all the way about 200 km from cplombo and when they told rooms are not available how is the feeling. They gave me a room which is below the standard amd even tv is not working for 1 day 23. I have no option and 24th morming came back to colombo. So unproffesional staff and even hotel guys did not inform me about rooms are not available. If they inform i am not travelling from colombo. This is ehat happen at HORIZEN KALPITIYA

Staff, nature, hotel, food, beaches .... all

The resort is really nice; the huts are close but not to close; and the pools are really clean and there is one for everybodys wishes; its also next to the sea; in case you wish to swim or just walk its really convenient; can recommend it

Minor things; but i will give this to the inexperience of the stuff, they are all really young; also for breakfast Im not used to fill out a list in advance what I want to eat; Im more used to a buffet kind of breakfast serving;

Great hotel. A real treat. Beautiful setting right on the beach. Very attentive friendly staff. Clean, comfortable airy room with an amazing view from the balcony. Extended our stay as it was so perfect. If you fancy a mooch, there are few little bars and beach hotels a short walk along the beach for a beer or juice with sunset!

Great location at the beach with comfy rooms and bungalows, nice pool and super-friendly staff. A very helpful manager with proficient language skills and the same goes for the bar/restaurant manager. Also nice food and awesome buffet for special occasions. We have felt like at home and definitely recommend the hotel for all kinds of different travelers. Also, if you are into CrossFit or functional fitness - „The BNKR“ is just a couple of minutes away.

Great place with amazing staff!

This is a beautiful resort with absolutely amazing customer service ❤️ lovely big clean rooms and really really good food I honestly can't recommend enough. We originally booked for 2 nights and ended up staying 7 because we just felt so at home

Nothing..... yes after reading some reviews the flys are annoying but they are natural near the fishermen on the beach also wifi could be a little quicker but your really not there for that and what you do get from the staff ect far out weighed these tiny problems

Very Friendly staff, nice big rooms with sea view,maintained properly, great breakfast with multiple options to choose from, clean facilities and pool. Very close to the beach.
