Бюджетный отель с приветливым персоналом, номер достаточно просторный: есть большая кровать, холодильник, шкаф, большой балкон. На первом этаже ресторан, завтраки, которые включены в проживание, достаточно скромные, но еда из основного меню вкусная. До пляжа и железнодорожной станции совсем близко, несколько минут пешком.

В номере был сломан слив унитаза, холодильник старый, несколько розеток не работало. В момент заезда какие-то ремонтные работы были на балконе и рабочие ушли, оставив строительный мусор. Дверь в номер во время работ была открыта, так что вечером на шторе обнаружили огромного усатого таракана.

No hot water in the room, safe wasnt working and it Topi almost two hours to get it working. Wanted cleaning service but manager never replied to our questions about it

Although this is officially a 3-star hostel, the experience was truly 5-star in every possible way. As a world traveler who has experienced everything from basic backpacking stays to top luxury resorts, I can confidently say that the hospitality here stands out on a global level. The care was exceptional—deeply personal, heartfelt, and delivered with such consistency that I felt at home from the very first day. Whatever I inquired about was handled far beyond expectations, and after 10 days I genuinely felt like I was leaving a second home. A very special thank-you to Suresh, the incredible property manager, whose professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail elevated every moment of my stay. My gratitude also goes to the outstanding restaurant team—Asala, Chandupa, and Badeepa—who not only fulfilled every request but anticipated my needs with flawless intuition. Their kindness, impeccable service, and ability to personalize every interaction made each meal memorable. And to the kitchen staff: thank you for the extraordinary food, the thoughtful flexibility with my dietary restrictions, and the Michelin-star-level presentation and taste. Every dish felt crafted with passion. Hashila, Sepala, Chameera, and Isuru—you truly spoiled me and set a new standard for what hostel dining can be. Finally, a heartfelt thank-you to the pearl of Esprit, Ms. Sriyani, whose warmth, charm, and constant care brought a special touch to every day. The room itself was spacious and far exceeded what one would expect from a 3-star property. The beautifully handcrafted local furniture, the seaview, and the overall quality created a comfortable and refined atmosphere that made it hard to leave. To the entire team: thank you for an exceptional stay. I cannot wait to return.

If I had to find anything to improve, perhaps a small rope or rack for drying clothes or beach towels would be useful, and a nightstand next to the bed would add a bit of extra convenience. - I really had to think hard for this
