Bathroom could be improved, communication not clear with owner. We arrived in the night (around 23h30) and there was no one, it was not clear where/who to ask to check in.

GBVery good value, walking distance to the bus station. Oscar was super friendly, helped organise transport to Calakmul for the very best price we could find. Cabin was basic but comfortable, mozzy net included. In terms of being a place to sleep for one night so you can visit an incredible Mayan site (Calakmul), this was good.
The bathroom in the cabin was suffering from damp, and there was a bit of a smell. Nothing major, though. There were also some really inconsiderate guests next door who decided to start playing insanely loud music at 1.30am, and didn’t finish until about 3am. Not the Hostels fault but the walls are very thin so it really disturbed our sleep.
CZVery basic but all you need for one night if you're playnning a trip to Calakmul. Clean bathroom with hot water! Very nice and friendly staff.
In the night it was very noisy due to the train construction related tragic.

Bit noisy from loud traffic until midnight plus some loud music. My cabin was right next to the road, and although it did not seem like a major road, the noise was shocking. Loud motor bikes and lorries. Also the fumes from the lorries easily penetrated the loose fitting slats of the cabin.
CZJust enough for what you need for one night’s sleep before heading to Calakmul the next morning.
There is a lot of room for improvement, but for the price this is a good choice

FRVers clean and very comfortable . I really enjoyed my stay. Eateries are nearby.
I wish I were welcomed by the owners rather than their young daughter who gave me poor information about transportation to Calakmul and who gave me the bad WiFi connexion.
