The restaurant was expensive, limited menu and limited hours. We were planning to stay in the hotel during our stay but had to go to Tulum to eat.

Great beach.

No amenities to qualify this stay as a hotel. Restaurant closes at 4pm. Only half of the menu items were available and the quality of the food was not great. Edible, but probably a 4 out of 10 on the food. No WiFi in the rooms only in the main lobby area. Talked to the front desk about it and the instructions we received to get information off the router was not applicable to WiFi. Internet in the room didn't even work as the CAT5 cable providing Internet to the router was severely worn out and did not make sufficient contact in the router itself. The room has a mini split AC unit only in the bedroom and it was underpowered. The room, especially the main room where there was no mini split AC was hot in general. Wanted to like this place. While I think it qualifies as a great beach club for visitors during the day, it by no means should be labeled as a hotel. More like a condo rental with only a small fridge, kitchen sink, and microwave for doing any cooking. The Internet and WiFi issues in the room need to be addressed. I wish I had not booked this place but rather just visited during the day for the beach club. I checked out early and booked at another location with amenities that could be expected to actually qualify a place as a hotel. Most of the reviews on every site appear to only describe the Beach Club for those on property for only 4-8 hours. Very few are posted from visitors who actually stayed at a room at the location overnight.

The location and balcony are wonderful. The beds are comfortable, the shower hot and the bathroom large. The refrigerator and kitchen faucet were nice.

No microwave or any other way to heat or cook food
