Belvedere Hotel

Good location, great view over the city and kind staff

No air conditioning and cold

We stayed at this hotel on three different occasions during our two-week trip to Madagascar. The hotel is quiet and comfortable. The rooms are basic but nice, and there's a very nice terrace with views overlooking the city. We felt safe, but had two different guides tell us not to venture out after dark. The food in the restaurant was good too. I found this to be a good place to stay before or after venturing out to see Madagascar.

Boutique hotel in central location with views. Eclectic architecture a bit reminiscent of Escher (nothing wrong with that). Clean modern looking facilities. Elegant restaurant, very professional helpful staff. Place has style and grace, our preferred stay in Tana.

I think if I could come up with something they would fix it.
