Hotel Thermen Bussloo - Apeldoorn

The Spa facilities were great and everything is really clean. The facilities are connected to the hotel via a tunnel, so no need to go via the outside. The food is good as well.

Really nice modern and stylish hotel in a beautiful nature surrounding. It takes 1,5 hours to get there from Amsterdam, but the hotel truly worth it.

Inspite of a really nice stay in the hotel, we had an awful experience in Spa. There was a Good Night session at 21:30, people were walking in, I was looking for my towel, but then the Sauna worker closed the door right in front of my face. I opened the door trying to walk in, but she kicked me out and said, we are too late. She did not even start anything and she was extremely rude (End of discussion, she said). Very unpleasant experience, which ruined the whole stay.

Beautiful spa and wonderful fresh healthy food.

We checked in but our room wasn’t ready when we checked in later we got a handicap room. We were surprised since we aren’t handicap and didn’t book that room. My husband is 6’5 and trying to use the sink etc wasn’t possible because it was so low, so at least we could do that at the spa. The soap dispenser didn’t work or the phone which we thought being a handicap room would be important for someone in a wheel chair. We luckily had our own soap and was close to the desk being on the main floor to let them know the phone wasn’t working. But the spa was amazing and we will be back.
