Royal Mirage Fes Hotel

I frequently use Booking.com and book most of my hotels through this platform. Therefore, I expect the information provided about accommodations to be accurate and the quality of service to meet the advertised standards. During my stay at this hotel, the staff behaved very strangely. One employee initially handled my check-in but was rude to me and then left without any explanation. About ten minutes later, another staff member approached me and asked whether I wanted to check in. This made no sense, as my reservation had already been confirmed and all the necessary information had been provided in advance. It raises the question of why I was asked this if I was already in the process of checking in and was clearly a guest of the hotel. In addition, the room did not appear to be properly prepared for my arrival. I have a video recorded immediately after entering the room. The bed was untidy, and the pillows were scattered around, creating the impression that the room had not been properly cleaned or prepared for a guest. I believe Booking.com should do a better job of monitoring the quality of the properties listed on its platform and warning customers about issues like these. I chose this hotel based on the information available on Booking.com, and I believe the platform shares some responsibility for the quality of the accommodations it promotes.

Verouderde donkere kamers. De meeste mensen van het personeel spreken zo goed als geen Engels wel Frans De ligging naar de oude medina is ver weg. Met petit taxi 20 tot 30 dirham ( dat is €2 a €3) ben je aan de Blauwe Poort, de mooiste ingang voor de oude Medina te bezoeken

Gut eingerichtet, super Buffet und sehr schöner Pool zum Schwimmen mit liegen und Handtuchservice.

The location is more convenient.

I didn’t like the property because there were people smoking hookah by the pool at night so it was uncomfortable to stay by the pool at nights. Also, that was the first hotel I have ever stayed in and there is no coffee machine in the rooms.
