Papa Joe, dat is de bijnaam die de kinderen gaven aan onze gastheer, laat je meteen thuis voelen. Hij gaf ons tips wat te doen en ook handig, wat niet te doen op Isla Holbox. Wij boekten een studio en suite. De suite heeft een bovenverdieping met groot 2 persoonsbed en eigen badkamer en beneden een slaapbank die groot genoeg was voor onze zoon van 1.84 cm met ook een eigen badkamer. Als je 2 jonge kinderen hebt dan zou je dus kunnen volstaan met het boeken van de suite. De accomodatie's waren ruim. schoon, straks ingericht en hebben een lekkere ruime douche, een magnetron, koelkast en waterkoker. De locatie is ook helemaal top. Je bent zo op het strand en de wandeling naar de stad duurde hooguit 15 minuutjes.

Helemaal niets. We deden een rondreis Mexico en moesten weer door, maar we hadden hier zo nog weken kunnen blijven

Juste à côté de la plus belle plage Un peu de marche pour aller au centre mais ça n’est pas un problème et ça permet d’être dans une zone bien plus préservée Il y a quelques restaurants autour, on n’est pas pour autant isolés Les chambres sont parfaites, la Clim fonctionne tres bien L’accueil de Joe est parfait aussi, il est très disponible et nous a donné de très bonnes astuces Le prix est vraiment très bon marché pour la prestation

Quiet, clean and spaceous rooms. Very good value for money.

Very quiet location and close to the quiet part of the beach. The view from the kitchen window was great over the bush to the lagoon. The hotel seems quite new, the room was nice and the bed was huge! It was nice to have a kitchenette with a kettle, a microwave and a big fridge (no stove!). The wifi was alright for the area and the ordering of a taxi worked well with the provided phone number (you need whatsapp here for such). Bring drinking water and other necessities from the supermarket in the center before coming out here, as it's a 20 minutes walk there.

The owner seemed patronising and made us feel like we bothered him. We had to leave a deposit of 300 MXN in cash upon check-in for potential damage on towels or other things in the room. We were afraid to be charged for any spots on the towels, even though they weren't spotless before. The sink in the bathroom is not very convenient for washing dishes and as there are no tea towels provided, drying the dishes without leaving spots on towels can be difficult. We were told several times to leave the dishes clean upon check-out, which was unnecessary, but maybe other guests need to be reminded. There was no housekeeping during our 2-nights stay.

Great spot if you don’t mind to do some walking into town. The beach is one block away. A comfy communal place to sit is very much needed. Wooden stools are practical but just not comfortable.
