Hotel Riverside with Swimming pool

Enjoyed the stay, staff is attentive. They pick me up at the bus station and the pool is chill.

Breakfast and service

I like how we get complimentary pick up and drop from the tourist bus stop. Lifts off unnecessary thinking for transport in the area, I so appreciate it. The place is in the main road and 2 minutes walk to the river and safari tour point. The room is huge, woody and with log design that adds up to the cabin feels in the wild. It has a good balcony where you can enjoy a lovely view of the sunset by the river which is also perfect for slow morning and late night talks. They have nice pool and huge breakfast with a garden view. But what stood out is how the staff is very pleasant and friendly. They sure made a good impression on how welcoming they are on their guests.

We stayed on one of their older property which needs improvement on facilities but they have newer rooms which are available if you prefer. Some power interruptions in mid evening maybe 5-10 mins given the area is rural part of Nepal.

A long delay after ordering food in the evening was frustrating but everyone can have difficult days. The staff were helpful

Pros: Beautiful location, clean rooms, lovely and clean pool and very friendly staff.

Cons: They support elephant riding and unethical elephant activities. We did not know this until we booked and arrived. We were very disappointed to see this. Elephants are chained up all day until they are forced to give tourists rides. They are constantly abused.

Poor service, for 3 days noone entered the room to lok after towels or garbage.
