Punakaiki Rocks Hotel & Garden Bar

Food and staff were amazing. Fish was fresh and cooked to perfection and breakfast generous portions also cooked as per requests… great sounds and eating spaces… location ideal for punakaiki ricks and close to beach

The rooms were a little small … sufficient for one night stay though and food , location and service made up for it

Basic and lots of hot water

Bathroom was dirty, and flyscreens filthy. Room overall was small and tight

Location near rocks is excellent. Food at restaurant was excellent. Room was quiet and comfortable. Good to have armchairs.

Not much in the way of kitchen equipment a disadvantage. There was cutlery, cups and glasses and a toaster, but no plates or bowls.
