Surfing Temple Boutique Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at Surfing Temple! The bungalows are surrounded by lush greenery, spacious, nicely furnished, and very comfortable. We spent time in the pool every day, which was a real highlight. The wooden deck around the pool could use some maintenance, but overall everything was great. Having your own scooter is definitely practical for getting around.

The Resort has very nice bedrooms and Bathrooms, you get an awesome room service and get everything you need. The Pool area is very nice too and the Food is super good, especially the Breakfast! The service is amazing and the Staff is the nicest!

The hotel is clean with comfortable rooms and a very nice bar/restaurant area. The pool area wooden deck is quite damaged. The staff was amazing and Brian the manager can literally help you with anything and made our trip memorable.

The road to the hotel from the main road is in terrible condition, when it rains it is basically impossible to get to the main road without being drenched in mud. We travelled as a couple and had to rent a Tuk Tuk because a normal scooter/motorbike would be very difficult to ride on that road. Also note normal taxi fares are 30 pesos around General Luna, but if the taxi drivers hear you want to go to Surfing Temple they charge 150 pesos due to the bad road condition to the hotel.

Very private but well located at the same time, about 5min scooter drive to cloud 9. The room is spacious and very well decorated, we especially loved the outdoor shower. The food is amazing and I can’t praise enough the staff at surfing temple, they were all so nice and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Would definetely book again. Special thanks to Brian, Jovel and Vanessa(sorry I don’t remember the names of the remaining staff)!
