Chern Chiangmai Boutique Hotel

Check in was great, the thai couple running this hotel were warm and friendly. Offered me free toast for breakfast as extra, though i didnt use it. Hotel was almost empty - didnt see or hear any other guests in my 5 days here so it was pretty quiet. Room cleaned daily with 2 bottles water. Fridge in room. Host recommended good arts and food places. Checkout was smooth thanks to the host.

Note this is a 2 storey wooden building with stairs. No lift. Wooden houses are poor insulation of noise - my stay was quiet only because there were few guests. If it had more guests, it would have been very noisy. Could hear airplanes take off and some traffic noise. Found a cockroach in my room one night and called the host to remove it; she blamed the rain (it didnt rain that day) and accused me of eating in the room (i didnt at all) for the roach. Didnt like her finger pointing attitude.

The property is exceptionally clean, cleaner than most accommodation in Thailand. The location is convenient. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We would recommend this hotel to any friends who visit Chaing Mai.

The staff was the friendlies and most helpful of all. The room was cosy, very comfortable bed, everything was good quality. The hotel itself is very nice, the mini front garden is very cute. :) Location-wise perfect. No noises at all during day or night, yet easy access to any direction.

Pretty much everything. The owners are genuinely lovely and friendly people and you feel at home there. The rooms themselves are cosy. The beds are extremely comfortable. Air conditioning cold. The staff make the room up for you. It's pretty quiet in the area so you can sleep well. There's a nice little Cafe out the front too.

I was considering an 8 but ended up giving it a 9 purely due to the staff and managers being so great. The biggest downer about the place is the showers. I stayed in 2 different rooms and they are genuinely not great. The drainage didn't work and the shower wets the whole bathroom. Also in the second room I stayed in the fridge kept making loud noises so I had to unplug it.

Kind owners very friendly gave me good life advise amazing drinks made nice artwork on property location every thing was within walking distance great local food I would have stood longer had it not been for the clicking sounds from within the walls.

Very lovely owners who helped us with every question :) We felt very welcome. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very kind. A plus point is the lovely breakfast option they give in the morning with good coffee. We can definitely recommend this place!

When I arrived at this property I was greeted by Purhi, the manager, and his lovely wife. And when I left a week later they had become friends. It was not the best of time for me as I had to go through surgery. Thais are generally warm and helpful, and here I could not have met more supportive people. This place instantiates "boutique" hotel in its most generous sense by its home feeling, personal attention, and presentation. I could not recommend it more.

Friendly owner, great service, large bed, clean, close to cafes and restaurants. When I got the airport, I realized I forgot my laptop. the owner personally delivered it to the airport and wouldn’t take any money and I made my flight. Great experience
