Hotel Santa Maria

Spacious room, lovely breakfast, great location.

Checkout slow and difficult: the staff member didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing and we were unable to check out the previous night to save time. No bar staff in the evening.

The breakfast was good - the staff was phenomenal. Aida at the counter was amazing throughout our stay. Helped us with tours , locations , cabs ….. A++++ reception. She definitely loved her job.

Breakfast was really good, enough to choose from and always fresh.

There was a kind of plastic protection sheet on the matras which made sleeping too warm and uncomfortable. We would have liked info about how the lights and the refrigerator in the room worked with the card.

The staff were very friendly abd service minded.

Restaurant and bar closed. No kettle in the room. Mould on the wall . Breakfast just basic. Half the pool too shallow to swim and on top of that 4 divers on training in the pool made it impossible to use the 7th. On the 9th the cleaning gear was in the pool until check-out time at noon. However the staff allowed me to stay for a swim after check out hour. There are 4 stars at the entrance. This is in reality a 2 star hotel with a little pool. The staff members are super in a not so good hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful whenever we needed them.

The furniture is very old. Also there is a small balcony that cannot be used, no chairs/table. There is no dryer for wet clothes.

My stay was great. The customer service before arrival could have been more polite. Once I was there the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The mattress was far too firm for me. Aside from that I was very content with my stay.

The staff was very friendly, competent and extremely helpful. They went out of their way to help me make my stay a good one.

The hotel is rather outdated in terms of design. We are here back in the mid eighties. However, the hotel is clean and functional
