Location, size( small with lots of character)

Nothing to not like… there were a few little bugs walking on the floor in the morning.

Cleanliness in every area of hotel. Staff are friendly and happy. Very quiet for sleeping and the bed was very comfortable. The location can not be beat... right on the main pedestrian street leading from zocalo to Santo Domingo. Near Benito Juarez market as well. Continental breakfast was good... pastries, fruit, juice, and bottomless coffee and there is a la carte choices for a small fee. Did I mention the staff? They are worth a second mention... we will be back.

Would like another sitting chair.

The location is great, The hotel was kind enough to allow us a late check out.

I think the hotel is a little over priced and that Parador de Alcala would be a better choice, The Genius deal included a breakfast but it was repeatedly necessary to ask for that complimentary breakfast, item by item (e.g. could we have the juice please, could we have the fruit please) - the waiters repeatedly proposed breakfast with prices instead. The bedroom was a good size but had no desk. Both bedroom and bathroom need redecorating.

we had a quiet room at the back so we had no problem with noise from the zocalo. Perfect location for a first visit to centro Oaxaca. appreciate the readily available safe drinking water, large room with high ceilings old world charm but updated. appreciated the natural light and the ability to black out for sleep.

A Great Stay in the Heart of Oaxaca This small, 13-room hotel offers a basic yet delightful experience thanks to its excellent and friendly staff across the front desk, maid service, and dining area, where I had coffee one morning, and Angel and Rafael helped me out. The property was exceptionally clean, and my room was very spacious. The bed and sheets were incredibly comfortable, and the shower provided strong water pressure and plenty of hot water—a perfect combination for relaxation. For the most part, the hotel was quiet, though the walls are on the thinner side. I stayed in room 103 on the second floor, which overlooked the interior courtyard rather than offering an exterior view. A convenient water station is available on the main floor. I didn’t try the hotel breakfast as I chose to dine out, but the location is unbeatable. It's just a short walk to Oaxaca’s many attractions, and the town itself feels super safe. Overall, this hotel provides excellent value with comfort, cleanliness, and a prime location at its core.

The bedroom furniture is all in great shape but with serious 1970s vibes and needs to be updated; There was no channel guide but an excellent large flat-screen TV with tons of channels.
