La Catrina de Alcala

Great location. They forgot to dot the i’s and cross the t’s. The front desk was excellent and very helpful. Their was one very good server in the restaurant, Ángel, but it was otherwise over staffed.

The flooring in the bedroom was very cheap, and some of it was buckling. The towels were not in great shape.

Despite being one of the more expensive hotels, this place feels cheap. The decour of the hotel as well as the rooms is cheap and trashy. The white lighting in the rooms is horrible. There were no windows to outdoors. We were woken up at 6am by the sounds of the staff preparing for breakfast. When we had breakfast we were told there were no eggs. Wanted to stay somewhere nice for our final night and made the mistake of booking here. AVOID.

Excellent location, super convenient for walking around town. Daily housekeeping and fresh towels. Staff was easily accessible through Booking.com messaging app. 24/7 staff, felt very safe and secure. Accommodating for our super late arrival and late departure. WiFi was great. Super cute rooftop. Everything was wonderful!

Nice hotel right in the middle of the beautiful center of Oaxaca. Pleasant staff and clean rooms.

the continental breakfast is really weak. The room is not well soundproofed, all the sounds from outside can be heard.

Superbly located with excellent service from Rocio,the manager down to the entire team . The housekeeoing department was exceptional.

Use of fluoroscent lighting and lack of an elevator

Very spacious and clean, also an amazing location.

They were an hour late with my check-in time but were also very apologetic about it.
