Studio 6 Extended Stay - Birmingham, AL - Medical Center

After checking in I went to my room and said nope. I found another hotel within an hour and checked out. I was told that I would not be charged for the room and the haven of unclean charged my card and now refuses to refund my money. Run away if you fell for the pictures and fake reviews that are connected to this property.

Wasn’t the worst but wasn’t that good either. First thing I noticed was a bad smell upon entering the room. I immediately checked the filter in the A/C and surprisingly it was clean. Never located the source of the smell as I came in and instantly cleaned the room myself. It wasn’t really bad. Only complaint was that the bathroom was completely unclean! The tub had a ring in it that was clearly visible from the doorway. There was a powdery brown substance on the partition between the toilet and the sink. Don’t know much about drugs but I’m certain that’s what I was looking at since there was a small baggie on the floor with the same substance inside it. There were no protective covers on the pillows or mattresses, YUK!

Located on the main drag. Very easy for transportation. Room was clean and not overly janky. Very friendly staff.

Good accommodations for the price.

Nice location, on busy road but tucked back a ways so it wasn’t noisy. Friendly night staff!

The room was average clean. there was gum or something stuck in the floor. There was supposed to be 2 queen size beds in our room. There was only one. Since we were there only one night, we made do.. We had to pay 100.00 deposit for damages. I took pictures of every inch of that room in the event they tried to keep our deposit. Never again will I stay there.

There was no light over the kitchenette, the sheets were either so stained that they couldn’t be washed clean or they had not been changed, no facial tissues or paper towels and the bath mat was already wet when I went into the bathroom to take a shower. The water came out of the shower head and tub faucet. The check in time wasn’t on the website or on our confirmation. Nor was the $100 deposit. The bathroom door wouldn’t close and the steam from shower set off the fire alarm.

Room was old and the air conditioning very noisy. The room smelled like smoke and we got sick.

Newly renovated, extremely clean. Very quiet and relaxing. Great price.

Unfortunately, this location was roach infested. Bathrooms kitchen all over the walls again I’m a simple man in a complicated world. I’ll sleep anywhere regardless, but for sure this would’ve been a disaster. If my wife and children were with me.
