BOURBON HOSTAL

Most modern possible stay in Juayua, the staff were extremely kind and flexible as our plans changed and we requested to stay an extra day. The room was comfortable, the shower never ran out of hot water, the staff was always cheery. They have free parking as well, which is meters from the property in a very big open lot. The rooftop where they serve breakfast was also pleasant.

It is so loud no matter what room you end up with. I am from NYC, so I am very used to falling asleep to lots of noise. It is near a busy / bus road, but at night there is a large hotel(?) or bar behind the property that plays music and also have many bargoers be rowdy until very late. The trade off was that if we were to stay anywhere else in the area, it would’ve been so much worse. I don’t think anything else would’ve been quieter

I stayed at Bourbon Hostal during a solo trip to Juayua. I was impressed by the facilities--everything was incredibly clean, modern, and stylish. Unlike some other places in LATAM where listings including A/C, internet, or hot water might stretch the truth a bit, these amenities at Bourbon Hostal were all top-notch. I appreciated how friendly the staff were as well! I'd highly recommend this properties to all travelers visiting Juayua!

Roof top bar and restaurant area is awesome - and what a view of town and particularly the Large Church. They have limited food options - but can order in from local restaurants- which o did and delicious!

I stayed on the second level and sound from the reception etc does travel around a bit. So for very sound conscious travelers- bring earplugs just incase.

It was a nice clear hotel with comfortable beds. The breakfast on the rooftop was very enjoyable.

It's impossible to sleep. We were there for 2 nights and the noise was unbearable. There is loud music playing and people talking very loud on one side of the hotel until the very early hours of the morning. The other side of the hotel has a construction company that starts very early and you hear the trucks backing up. The front of the hotel has the bus stop and again, you hear the horns and people yelling very early in the morning. Do not stay hear if you want a good nights sleep.

Incredibly warm staff, fantastic level of quality and cleanliness.

The town is very noisy and you can hear that noise from very early in the morning to very late at night.

The decor is lovely, the rooms very spacious and comfortable. It is more of a hotel than a hostel. There rooftop bar has lovely views of the town. Overall a nice comfy stay.

The music on the roof was quite loud considering there was never anyone up there. The breakfast was fine however it was quite expensive to add things which without made the breakfast small. €2 for one piece of streaky bacon is a bit ridiculous.

Clean and modern. Great security. Great location. Comfortable beds. Big rooms with great counter spaces.

Really the only negative thing is the rooftop bar. They could be doing so much more with it. There’s barely no selection for alcoholic beverages (they don’t even have cocktails just beer and red wine), it’s beautiful up there I would have stayed and drank more if there was more of a vibe and more drink options. Also would like if they had drip coffee ready in the morning for guests to self serve. They only offered espresso and you had to wait for the one staff member to be there to make it for you (I waited a while one day as that staff member was also in charge of making the breakfasts for everyone at the same time).
