Mua Tala Hotel El Nido

Great location on vanilla beach, beautiful room, staff friendly and helpful

My room was 8 floors up with no lift and 165 steps (I counted!) I got sick whilst there so had no energy to use my room due to the stairs other than sleeping. And after all that, the higher up you get, the view is rubbish due to the trees. Also lots of noises at night , banging on the roof etc very over priced and food a bit bland. Not enough sun loungers

Lá vista una delle più belle al mondo. La spiaggia bellissima così come struttura, stanza e aree comuni fantastiche.

Bisogna essere consci che per accedere alle stanze bisogna fare dai 5 ai 9 piani di scale a piedi. A seconda di dove sia la vostra stanza. Per arrivare alla nostra erano 7 piani. La vista finale, davvero mozzafiato, valeva tuttavia la pena dello sforzo.

Tutto tranne le scale.

Forse eviterei la musica da discoteca al bar per tutto il pomeriggio, preferirei musica piu' tranquilla.

Tolle Lage und Ausblick, tolles Pool und Strand

wir hatten die beste Zimmerkategorie, diese war mit tollem Susblick im 7. Stock aber leider ohne Lift. Frühstücksbuffet war ok, etwas unappetitlich und das Obst war um 8 schon aus, nachgelegt wurde nicht

The room was nice, beautiful view

Firstly if you have luggage, its a big hassle to get to the hotel. There is no parking and you need to walk 10 minutes in the heat (over the beach) with your luggage to arrive. Then you need climb 80-100 stairs to finally arrive the room.Secondly the hotel is outdated in common areas, its not well maintained. Wooden railings are broken causing serious danger and many parts need reparation. The rooms is good taken care off but has open roof structure, means that you have no sound proofing at all, hearing every small noise outside. The hotel has a beach bar below the rooms and organises full moon parties till midnight (without prior informing guest) and daily sunset dj's, destroying the calming and restful moments one should have when booking this hotel. It seems the hotel prioritizes its parties and beach bar more than the comfort of its guest. After complaining about this, nothing was improved. In the morning at 6am you could hear construction works and staff setting up the breakfast, horrible if you are not able to get a good proper sleep. Then the breafast, is of very poor quality and choice. Paying almost 400 euro per night for sleepless night, noisy room, hard to reach location and bad breakfast is definitely not worth it. Lots of room for improvement

Fantastisk lokation og hotel. Skøn mad og service. Lidt mange trapper til suiten på toppen (199 trin). Men det var en helt igennem fantastisk ferie (4dage)

The property was beautiful and well-kept, the view was absolutely stunning and the location was great. Far enough outside of El Nido town to avoid too much hubbub but close enough if you want to go into town. Would absolutely recommend Mua Tala to other travellers and I hope we have the chance to go back!
