"An authentic and traditional Zanzibari resort, great beach access and good cocktails"

I made a special request for a sea view room, which I was given and it was beautiful! The Zanzibari staff are so kind, happy, courteous and always willing to help.

If, like me, you are below 40 and you’re NOT Italian… this might not be the best place to stay! The resort if catered completely for Italian guests. Very little English is spoken in the resort (even though English is one of the 3 languages spoken on the island). I was ignored all week by the Italian entertainment staff, and actually only spoke English to the resort manager Marco, a very nice and friendly man! All entertainment is in Italian, menu, signs, food labelling at the buffet, game night in Italian only! Thankfully the cocktail menu was translated so not a total loss.

very good location, clean rooms, fridges in the rooms what is important in hot climate, no algaes in the ocean and low ocean tides which is important if you want to swim in the ocean any time, close to the restaurants and shops.

Location was perfect to everything and great service when booking outings & spa. Transport was great to/fm the airport aswell as diving. What i liked the most was that the resort wasnt too big that you were just a number in a factory, but a individual free to do as you wished without being bothered too much, while still being looked after. Loved the grass areas too.

The mattress on the bed, would be even better if they were not foam. Though i know this is huge investment.

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has the best location on Nungwi Beach, close to the beach and other restaurants. When we arrived we got upgraded to the junior suits which was really nice. The staff were really friendly and helpfull.

The beds were a little bit hard. One thing that’s good to know is that all entertainment is in Italian. No problems for us since we always went to other restaurants in the evenings, but good to know if you’re planning to stay at the hotel most of the time.

The location is perfect, staff was friendly and helpful. We liked the diners a lot. There are a lot of activities inside the hotel

The breakfast was a little boring after a few days and the wifi didn't work very well.
