Amazing location. By the nicest beach in Zanzibar I think. Beautiful sand, clear water and great snorkeling just a gentle swim away. Great little bar next to the hotel on the beach for sunset happy hour. Some masai markets very close as well. Staff were brilliant and so friendly. We loved Ellen who always cheered us up for brekkie. Breakfast was very tasty loved the omelette station plus the baked beans were tasty not too far off a baked bean from back home. Great sun loungers in a chilled spot overlooking the sea. Rooms were large, AC worked well plus a ceiling fan and had a nice outdoor bit to chill with a Seaview.

Beds were very firm and the pillows terrible. Could make do with the beds but really need to invest in new pillows it's like sleeping on a rock. It's an Italian resort so 'entertainment' is all in Italian but we didn't care for this as we wanted to explore the local spots anyway. Rooms need a little updating especially the shower as no shower screen so water gets everywhere.

Food is very expensive for its low quality (non all inclusive means $25 per person per meal…) - would highly recommend Sexy Fish restaurant at the Z Hotel instead which is a 5min walk from the hotel Unfortunately, being 2 women traveling, male staff can sometimes behave inappropriately / make you feel uncomfortable… same goes for the (numerous!) beach boys on Nungwi beach who will be quite insistent to sell you stuff and / or catcall you. However, Nungwi beach is known for its beach boys so there’s not much you can do about it

The resort is beautiful and the rooms are big and spacious. Staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean everyday, which is nice as everyday we collected sand from the beach. Breakfast is ok, not as bad as I read on some of the reviews. There is plenty if choice. Location is right atop Nungwi beach and from here you can walk all the way to Kendwa beach or to other resorts/restaurants.

The water from their tap is salty, which makes you wonder how much sea water comes trough their plumbing. If you are not Italian you will feel a bit left out, seems Veraclub used to be a all Italian resort and after covid they started receiving guests from other nationalities. The animation is a bit too weird if I'm honest, although there was a Masai dance night we enjoyed. If you are not all inclusive guest you cannot order a la carte, but can only have a 25 eur buffet. And finally, although not the fault of the hotel, but I think its important to mention: the private beach is inside the resort. If you want to go to the sea you have to go down to the public beach where you will be harassed every minute by people trying to sell you everything. I get this is how the locals make a bit of money however its exhausting. Also, I think the resorts should make a better job at collecting the garbage from the beach, I'm sure it costs very little to employ someone to pick up bottle and other stuff left behind, and its also a way to help the poor community around.

Front desk staff was very helpful. Great location with well maintained grounds. It is an All Inclusive type hotel with most guests from Italy.

The rooms need to be updated (new AC units, kettle) and attention should be focused on the dump smell in the rooms.

Buffet was very good. Staff is nice. Family rooms are perfect fitted for families.
