The Maxwell Inn

Dana and the rest of the staff were friendly and accommodating (no idea how the negative reviews were encountered). Room was small-ish but comfortable. Hot tub was *amazing*

It's not cheap, for what you get, but it's a resort area.

This is a perfect location, just outside of town and a short drive to the park. Our room was squeaky clean- better than many of the major hotel chains. I was surprised with only a 2 night stay that our room was refreshed including clean, deluxe towels and toiletries. Not the case in most places post covid. The Inn offers a large selection of dvds. We chose ‘The Shining’ because the hotel where it was filmed is in town. Breakfast for us was fine. And the host was quick to make sure the coffee pot was filled and to refill fresh fruit selections so that later guests had the same choices as earlier risers.

Really great place to stay. We enjoyed the Cabin C on the river. The water sound was so peaceful. Great location for walking downtown to grab a bite to eat. Staff/owners were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!!

The room was clean. The staff was friendly. The location is great--just outside of downtown Estes Park, and a short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. It was very fun to see the elk that graze in the front yard of the Inn. views of the mountains are lovely. Also they had hummingbird feeders and chairs in a little front patio which was a nice place to relax.

The room was fine but rather small. It had room for just our queen bed, basically. For the price we paid it seemed quite tiny. Also when I asked the front desk staff about restaurant recommendations etc they seemed to not really know much about restaurants in the area. The continental breakfast was just okay, not anything special. It also opens at 7 am which meant we couldn't access it the day that we had a timed entry for 6 a.m. to the park.

The location of the Inn was nicely located close to where the wedding was being held, and easy access to town was a big plus

Was disappointed with the breakfast offerings, also the room was smaller than I expected, On Saturday they came to clean the room we were getting ready to attend a wedding asked personal to return in about an hour and will be gone and they could clean the room, The room was not cleaned when we returned from the function at 10:PM. Left the notice provided on the door handle that said to please the service the room.

Great place, great location. Enjoy the fire pit and hot tub, especially after hiking each day.
