Riddiford Hotel

The bed was comfortable and the management staff were pleasant and helpful. The venue was literally a two minute walk to the Conference venue which was exactly as expected. Easy to navigate :)

I was disappointed that the restaurant that was advertised on the website and on Booking.com was permanently closed. I arrived later than expected after a delayed flight from Auckland, it was dark, I was unfamiliar with the Hutt and was not comfortable looking for somewhere to eat on my own. So I had no dinner. I also set off for Conference unsure if I could get breakfast anywhere. Luckily I could at the venue. Also I had issues with my door lock but teh next day teh manager had fixed it for me.

Curtains did not block out light at night

Great location, close to Queensmart mall.

Lacked facilities, no plates or bowls or cutlery. Had to buy disposable ones. Simple things like a mirror in the bedroom so you could get ready while someone was in the bathroom. Disappointed with what we paid and what we got! Very dated, place had a funny smell! Shower leaked! But we made do.

It met my expectations and had everything I needed

The staff were exceptional. Friendly and helpful. It is an older property, but that is reflected in the price. Could not be faulted for cleanliness. If there were any issues I am sure the staff would have helped. They were amazing.
