The Postcard Hotel

Veldig sjarmerende hotell. Flott spisesal på taket.

Vi slet litt med kommunikasjon i resepsjonen. De snakket ikke engelsk. Vi skjønte ikke at det var restaurant på taket før siste dag. Vi fikk frokosten på rommet, av en eller annen grunn. Men hyggelige og velmenende betjening

- The bathroom had bad smells mixed with artificial smell. We tried to removed a rotten plant, closed the window but it didn't help. We guessed it's from the drain. - The restaurant closed for the whole day except for breakfast (7h30-9h), so you need to go downhills to the beach area every time you look for something to eat. Ordering food here is not good as it's quite far, we waited 40min on Grab food after they canceled our order. Good thing: - The view to the bay is nice - Near the place of cruises

The hotel is very much as it appears in the photographs. It is very clean, spacious and has great views of Ha Long Bay especially from the restaurant on the 5th floor and the roof top bar which has a great outside seating and garden area. It is also very quiet at night. The rooms are spacious and clean and again, each room has a sea view. The staff were all very nice and helpful.

There was nothing to dislike. We visited out of season and so the hotel was very quiet but that was to be expected. The lobby bar/cafe was closed but I imagine when it is open and more people are staying, there is a great atmosphere there.

Location peaceful and quiet, comfortable bed. There was only us and another couple staying at the hotel, low season in February. The free bikes were good to use as there weren’t any restaurants or cafes near by.

Not the hotels fault but the smog was terrible. The hotel is a long way from a restaurant. All the trees have been cut down around hotel.

such a beautiful looking hotel..no expense spared in the detail..everything was beautiful down to every pot in the hotel..loved the style and decor..

the whole island is a bit quiet. we did go in low season..

Rooms were chic and clean. Staff were immensely helpful.

Hotel is a bit far from the city centre, so farther from the shops and food places. Very close to the pier though, which is helpful when availing of a cruise to Ha Long Bay.

This hotel is beautifully presented, the staff are wonderful, so lovely. We had to walk some distance to find a restaurant , but it was worth it, we had an adventure.

There's no resturants close by, so you need transport or you're able to walk some distance.
