We booked a family suite , the room was tired looking and dirty , we changed to a cheaper smaller room but was charged for the family suite we did not stay in The staff in reception would not charge the correct rate and cheated us . since they kept our luggage we had no option but to pay what they demanded

We booked a penthouse suite. The size of the room is great, but the decor is gloomy and utterly basic. It’s a self-proclaimed luxury hotel without the luxury experience. The receptions are the most unwelcoming and unfriendly people. We got stuck in the hot elevator for 30 minutes, and once we got rescued, no apologies, were mentioned. There is a beach bar near the hotel that plays loud music until 1-2 am, which makes it difficult to sleep. The staffs need to be better trained in customer service to serve International clients. In other words, Ha Long is progressing fast but their customer service is behind. In sum, we had an average hotel.

The staffs need to be more friendly. People who pay for a penthouse has to have a more pampered experience rather than feeling like they booked an inexpensive room.

Sun world was closed

The hotel was comfortable, breakfast was sufficient, and the staff tried hard to please One of us in the group made a complaint about one of the serving staff at breakfast, after which the rest of the staff did their best to pacify the complaint. View and location was great, fortunately the roller coaster was not too noisy but in the night you can hear the noise from across the road from the bars.

We felt not good for sleeping, loundy noise outside at the midnight and even in the early morning (5am); I've been stuck in the bathroom because the lock cannot work.
