Charlie's House

The property was well situated and central. Staff were pleasant.

The walls are very thin and you can hear every sound. The place is cheap and is not family friendly. We had backpackers staying on either side of us who were coming off the tubing and so drunk. One vomited 6 x one night and you could hear everything. There was no respect for keeping quiet after 10pm. Guests were congregating outside at 11pm onwards. When they came home at 1am and they were loud, argumentative, drunk and slamming doors, keeping us awake. There should be kettles in the rooms. The water heater at the front desk didn’t work and we had to walk to 7/11 to get boiled water for coffee.

Hard beds, cold showers, thin walls (can be loud at night/in the morning)

Very good location, big and clean bathroom, beautiful garden, free coffee and water.

Beds and pillows not very confortable.

There was a TV and hot water available at the office.

No kettle in the room. Very poor hot water in the shower. Thin walls. Very noisy. Customers too loud at night and too late.
