"We had a good stay and got what we expected."

We enjoyed the buffet which was refilled constantly till the very end. The hotel was fully booked so they offered different dinner starting times what helped to not have any queues at the buffet. There was something for every taste. Unfortunately the pool wasn't open while we were there, which was very disappointing.

The mattresses were very old, we could feel the springs.

The rooms in the wing (I think East Wing), were a bit dated, but that added to the charm of the place. The location was superb, and in a quaint area. The size of the rooms were huge, compared to most of the other hotels we've stayed in in Japan.

The towels in the room seemed to be quite thin, perhaps they are due for replacing soon. The decor, again, a bit outdated, but not a big issue, it added to the charm of the place.
