Biei Shirogane Onsen Hotel Park Hills

Pick up and return from local railway station (about 20mins) all included !! Well located inside national park, about 30 mins walk to Blue lakes, the waterfalls were just outside the hotel entrance. Very interesting volcano museum up a long flight of steps on the other side of the water fall, very much worth the climb up, short film in English and plenty of detailed explanations about volcanoes in English. The hotel Onsen was excellent as was the buffet diner and breakfast. Thank you !

The room was a little dated but in same respect it is hotel for hikers and outdoor activities not a 5* gin palace ! Apart from dinner & the onsen there was not much else to do in the evening.

The room noise isolation needs to be improved, because we can hear the neighbors‘ talking clearly

Onsen and location next to the water fall are the exceptional experience.

Bed is very small.

The hotel is close to the Shirahige Waterfall and Blue Pond.

The location is wonderful, the staff excellent. The breakfast and dinner were amazing.

Comfortable room, restaurant. Nice food.
