After checking into the hotel, I noticed that there was hardly any water pressure in the shower. I informed the owner about the problem and asked if anything could be done, but they responded strangely, saying that the guest who stayed in Nikko yesterday hadn't complained about anything. I asked if they don't check things like shower water pressure when cleaning after guests check out, but she pretended not to understand and didn't answer. Eventually, both the owner and her husband came and checked various things including the water tank, but they couldn't determine the cause. They said it couldn't be fixed today, so I told them I wanted to cancel my two-day reservation if the shower wasn't working. They said I would have to pay for one day. I understood that due to Booking.com's system, one day's cost was unavoidable, but I was shocked by the owners' subsequent behavior and words. They told me, "We don't even want today's payment, just leave." What kind of accommodation kicks out their guests at 9 PM at night? While the shower's functionality was the initial problem, I was most surprised by how the owners handled the situation afterward. Although it pains me to report this, I hope they will make improvements so future guests can have a better experience.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

We liked the mosquito net, balkon and the comfortable bed.

Quite far from the city, tuk- tuk needed to manage the luggages.

I wished there was an Ella mountains view or at least a nice chill place at the property, cleanliness could be a little bit better in the bathroom.

The breakfast was amazing. Nice view on the forest in front of the room. The lovely host was very accomodating with changing dates for the booking. Large room.

The road to get to the accomodation is steep and not always paved. It's far from the main road; doable by scooter or tuktuk but too long to walk.

The host was excellent - such a warm and helpful person. The breakfast was really nice, and there was a lot of birds an animals to watch while eating

We had some minor troubles with the shower, and it got quite humid at times.

Very nice people very hospitable and provided dinner and an extra towel when I arrived late and soaking wet from the rain. I recommend
