Ella Sunrise

Great view and abundant breakfast, nice service. The garden and the nature around are stunning. The toilet is modern and there's hot water. We were alone there as we got the only room on the floor up their house, it's nice to be on the balcony having breakfast and looking at the nature around.

Bugs can come in from under the door so we had a couple big ones. The road to get there is bumpy and it feels a bit far. The thick blanket for the night didn't seem fresh.

The family were nice and it was inexpensive. A bit of a walk from town but I knew that in advance and it was no problem. Fine for a brief stay.

It had been raining in Ella and the room was a touch on the damp side. The bathroom is somewhat dated, and the shower was quite cold.

This is a really lovely homestay! It is clean and comfortable and a wonderful haven oasis in the jungle, away from the hectic main road of Ella town. This is not a 5* luxury hotel, it's a clean and comfortable room part of a family's home. It is a little walk - 20 minutes on hilly bumpy road - from the main town, but for me it was perfect. You are already on the way to climb ella rock! I really enjoyed my stay here.

Peaceful deep into the jungle so able to watch monkeys & squirrels playing in the forest Host was very kind & made basic dinner when I arrived tired and frazzled after a long journey Also bought a kettle so I could make tea

Location a LONG way from town-2km not the 850 metres claimed on booking. com!! Many insects in the room, which wasn’t cleaned in 7 days nor bin emptied Laundry returned so crumpled it was unwearable, looked like it had been dried in a heap Basic breakfast , mostly stodge
