My door did not close on its own so I had another guest walk into my room thinking it was his he was apologetic but frightened me so put chain on later that night there was loud banging on my door by 2 mails trying to get in shouting let me in you wanker my key isn’t working clearly the wrong room but that woke me and my partner up and then didn’t really sleep too well after that mentioned it to night porter on reception at around 4am as we went to get some water and milk as we was awake and all we got was a sorry this is disgraceful and not having closing doors clearly shows a safety risk but also a fire risk and I am disabled and in a wheelchair I want to make an official complaint

I was in a twin room and found the beds to be a good size. I liked all the little extras such as toiletries and drinks.

My only dislike was the room temp, I would have preferred the air con to have gone below 19.

The hotel is close to the train station so easy to get to. The room is large and appreciated the curtains which actually blocked out the light. Bed was maybe a bit hard, but that's preference. Staff were really friendly, especially Luke on reception.

The buffet area for breakfast was a little small considering the hotel was full when we stayed. Felt a bit cramped when trying get food.

Room was very nice, bar was great, staff were great

The only disappointment was the Marco Pierre White restaurant, I know the hotel was very busy because of a football match that I was attending but I expected better, they had run out of most steaks and we were told the wait was an hour, which it was, the restaurant didn’t look that busy and a steak literally takes a few minutes to cook, not good at all
