Lil's On The Waterfront

Fantastic base, right in the middle of town. Lovely staff. Fabulous value for money. Discount on food and drink at the Waterfront and their sister bar The Lowther. Looking after our bag before check in to enable us to start sightseeing straight away.

Very steep stairs up to the rooms, bannister was pretty much vertical. Could have done with a bedside table lamp as only other light was the big light! A couple of easy chairs would have been nice too but not essential

Excelente ubicación vista al rio. Bar y restaurante en su vereda. Muy amables los responsables. Bien predispuestos.

Siempre avisar que para subir a las habitaciones el primer piso es solo escaleras.

The staff and location

Great location

Location is fab for station, river and town centre.

Stayed a number of times and feel it is going down hill. Needs some tlc. Knew about stairs being very steep and narrow but nothing can be done about that just gets more difficult with age.

On the waterfront. Easy to find. Generally very comfortable for what I needed.

The shower needs the plug hole unblocking .Room 6. Nowhere to put toiletries in bathroom - could do with a small table/stand next to the sink maybe? Couldn’t open window (one pain of glass needs replacing) as pidgeons /pigeon poo on ledge … Main access door needs securing and was left wide open by another guest.

Needs a coat of paint. Stains on the carpet off putting
