Jayaa Beach

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impressive, from the rooms to the beautifully maintained garden. The rooms were brightly lit, making them very comfortable and welcoming. Initially, I didn't have high expectations, but after checking in, I was pleasantly surprised. It felt like being at home. The hotel offers a small outdoor common kitchen where guests can prepare their own meals and a common fridge, which is very convenient. The owner is incredibly friendly, and although one of the staff members doesn't speak English, he understands well and is extremely helpful. The service is top-notch. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are huge, featuring rain showers, air conditioning, and a constant supply of hot water. The hotel is situated near the main road, but the noise didn't disturb my sleep. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely come again.

I liked everything about my stay! I stayed in a ground-floor double room, which was huge and very well cleaned. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bathroom was also very clean and spacious. The room felt as big and luxurious as a European hotel. The bed linen and pillowcases were clean and comfortable. Additionally, the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to answer our questions and solve any problems we had. They also have a small common kitchen where guests can prepare breakfast, which is quite uncommon in this area. For the price, they offer much more than expected.

What a lovely team who ran this place. Just the smiliest most accommodating guys. The room was a good size and it had everything we needed. The shower was so lovely and hot - best so far! The AC fan combo was very effective and we slept well. The beach is at the back of this place - and though it’s small, it was very safe for kids as there is a reef that protects the bay. It’s 30 seconds from door to beach.

A bit more attention to detail in terms of cleanliness - things like cleaning the ceiling fans or the window ledges on the corridors would be great. I mentioned this to the owner who was appreciative of the feedback. The bedding and towels were clean but a bit tired but they are expensive. It would be a good investment though.

One of the best stays of our trip. Amazing service by Eranjan and his team. Location was right next to Turtle Beach where we could swim with the turtles (please don't touch or crowd them). Rooms were good value for money. It was extremely close to Galle as well for people who want to explore the historic city.

Nothing as such. Had a wonderful time here. Actually extended our stay.

A really great place to stay. The rooms were comfortable and spotless.The outside kitchen is convenient for preparing food and drinks or for eating takeaways. The hotel is 30 seconds from the beach. I highly recommend this hotel.

Quite noisy since it’s located next to the main road and the railroad (the train woke us up a few times) Not very safe to walk since the main road it’s busy day & night and there is no sidewalk at all.
