Worlds most friendliest staff, exceptional views of rice paddies from your bed, close to nice restaurants

Beautiful area of rice terraces and surrounding forest and mountains. Big comfy bed and nice bathroom. Simple and very pleasant, peaceful. Recommend getting scooter to get to good local food places 5 minutes away.

needs a mosquito net or at least somewhere to hang one. next door hotel was blasting music at all hours of day/night more fresh fruit for breakfast would be nice Difficult to get local knowledge/recommendation from stuff who don’t speak much English

incredible place to escape all the hustle and bustle

- attention to detail for the decor. - magnificent views over the rice fields. - staff went out their way to help us, when we needed help with transport or food they offered us their moterbike and cooked for us. - even when their was a power outage, the staff went out their way to ensure we felt comfortable, attending to our every need and communicating well. - one of the guys left a fan for us outside of our room which we really appreciated. - great location if you want to visit the Ijen crater - charming place and a close to nature experience

- because the house is made from bamboo you can hear everything outside which is nice but also very loud when you're not used to it. It does feel like, the insects are in the house with you. Thus, we did see surpringly little insects or mosquitos in our room. Nevertheless, we would have appreciated a mosquito net over the bed. - there is no aircon. But the fan that the staff provided without us asking for it on the second night really helped. - you could hear the mosque calls all night long. Without behind disrespectfull to the local religion, it was a an unknown ongoing sound for us . We are not light sleepers, so it did not disturb us much. - it is not close to any shops. There is a couple of restaurants next door. In general there was little choice if you are a vegetarian. For more flexibility it'd be great to rent a scooter for example

Suberb location with rice fields in front of the room’s door. Everything is well designed with attention to details, with many nice quiet spots where to relax with a view within the structure. You fall asleep hearing only the noise of frogs and crickets. Very nice staff.

The hot shower didn’t last long and it may be useful a bit more storing space to manage the luggage inside the room.
