Sawah Ijen

This is a simple accommodation with a beautiful view.

The rooms are great, you feel very close to nature, they’re made of bamboo - amazing unblocked view of Ijen - breakfast is served in the garden and is very good. The staff are the stars of the show 🌞 funny, attentive and just great to be around.

A great view and you sleep in the natural sound of crickets, this was special. Friendly staff, sometimee bit bad with English but very nice and helpful. I recommend if you like really beautiful place in nature close to Iljen. The optional Ijen tour was really good! It had a lot of good things but some to improve.

My room had some problems with facilities: sometimes water and shower was not working, after they fix shower had only cold water and very low pressure. Next day wifi had no internet connexion. Also I thought it was going to be quiet place but lot of noise sometimes from agricultural machine and loud praying oudside. I was little scared from lots of insects but they didn't hurt me so this was not problem :) In the night it rained I had a little cold, only small blanked.

An immersion into nature. The hut is very nice and it looks authentic. The stuff is very nice and helpful. The view is beautiful.

Be ready to find insects, frogs, lizards, ants in your room or bathroom. A mosquito nest would be helpful 🙂

Super lovely place to rest and unwind amidst gorgeous rice paddies and a mountain view! Really cosy and clean. Yummy breakfast served picnic style on the lawn!

Staff woke us up each morning calling us to breakfast. While the breakfast was lovely, we were hoping to get some sleep ins, so this was quite disruptive while we were in a deep restful sleep! we

I love everything about the place, but as a possible room for improvement i would say parking(its a bit uncomfortable to park as the stones are slippeery) maybe a faster wifi and aircon would make this awesome place even better
