The bungalows are very beautiful and nicely decorated. At night you can hear nothing but the sounds of the nature which was very calming. The view of the ricefields straight from the terrace was also great. They helped us organise a pickup from the station as well as the Ijen tour which was really helpful. The breakfast was big and delicious, they also offered us a take-away breakfast on the day when we were checking out earlier.

It was a bit cold and night even though we were there in the warm season.

What a treat. The welcome at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable with everything you could need. The bed was very comfortable. We managed to eat dinner at the hotel next door which was great. Our breakfast was served as a picnic the following morning after our Ijen tour. All overlooking the rice fields. We highly recommend it.

The only downsides, the rooms are not very sound proof, we could hear our neighbours talking but everyone went to bed early and the sound of the frogs created white noise. There was only enough hot water for one person to shower in the whole place. Not sure if it was just a once off issue. They were renovating the rooms and sorting out some issues, which is great to see in a new place. Despite this I would highly recommend it.

Breakfast was delicious

There are lots of bugs in the room, all over the bed. The bathroom, in particular, is full of ants. Hope the shop redecorate it, do a comprehensive insect repellent
