Sawah Ijen

Amazing accommodation with beautiful rooms. Nice location. Helpful staff who arranged everything we needed, including contacting the people who arranged the trip to Ijen. We needed to leave early in the morning and an earlier breakfast was not a problem.

Nothing to be liked

The beds had many lizard droppings when we just entered the door. There were many spider webs and the rooms were full of dust. The toilet had many rusts. There was no aircond hence ventilation of the rooms were bad. The hotel staff was not friendly and the owner isnt responsible for the rooms being not as per advertised.

The location is nice in the middle of rice fields.

There is actually no restaurant. What is being offered are instant nodles. When we arrived (late in the evening) the boy who met us didn't speak any English. Even with translator it was hard to understand each other. There were no towels in the room and it was very difficult to explain that to him. Even after he got what we mean he whent to the room to verify there are no towels... But the worst thing of all was the cleaness (or better lack of) in the room. There was even a mouse (or a bat, not sure) shit in the room. Disappointing...

Surrounded by nature, nice decor. Unbeatable view to wake up to.

Very thin walls but that’s almost everywhere in Indonesia. Very thin blanket provided at night and no AC.

You can see the volcano from hotel room. Breakfast is good and staff are friendly

Bed sheets were not changed from the previous guest, shower water was basically cold water
