The staff are incredibly helpful and pleasant. The room was larger than expected - which was a good surprise, and was very clean. The daily cleaning was done really well, and the bathrooms are also in a good state with decent hot water. The location is fantastic - maybe sometimes it gets loud during peak season, but for us we had no noise issues at all. The hotel has been built to keep in line with the surrounding architecture and they've done a great job. It's also very close to get everywhere in the fort by foot - which was very helpful when travelling with a young child. The restaurant has good quality food - a bit expensive - but, had the best pol roti here with a great chicken curry + parippu! I would definitely stay here again - if we're travelling on our own, or with one other family. Keep a look out for the squirrels that you can see scurrying around in the mornings, they're a fun sight to watch for the kids.

There was nothing we didn't like - however two things to note are the property doesn't have a lift, or a pool. It's only two floors and we could go up the stairs so that was fine. A pool, even a small one, would have been nice as the daytime gets hot.

We had a fantastic time in Galle and part of the reason was this hotel. It had everything we needed - beautiful rooms with amazing air conditioning, a delicious breakfast with tasty choices, and very kind people helping us whenever we needed it. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back!

L'hotel si trova nel centro di Fort Galle in una posizione eccezionale, su una delle principali stradine del centro storico. La nostra stanza la 201 era in una posizione dominante e dal ballatoio esterno si poteva godere della vista sui tetti fino al mare a destra e il faro a sinistra. Colazione ottima.

poor lighting outside room - needs better lightning in order to put key in keyhole, struggle every time no swimming pool, lots of stairs Could do with stronger lightning in rooms restaurant- excluding breakfast - expensive. prawn curry only had 4 prawns. lots of customers smoking during meal time (not fault of restaurant but very annoying) need more fans in outdoor restaurant area - a bit hot compared to other similar styled restaurants in area staff lacking in knowledge regarding things to do around area
