It’s 1 min away from misasagi

No lifts, and no staff to clean the rooms

Very comfortable location. The metro station is right next to the hotel and is easily connected to the rest of the city. There is also a Lawson (convenience store) next to the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The lady who welcomed us was very nice and gave us some recommendations on where to go and where to eat.

The hotel was in an excellent location, really quiet and next door to Misasagi station. The room was really comfortable and had a fully equipped kitchen and even a washing machine, which we were grateful for. The staff was really helpful and came to meet us after check-in time despite is being really late and helped me get my Suica card back after I lost it. I really recommend this hotel and hope to be back in the future

1. Excellent location, hardly a few meters from Misasagi subway station on the Tozai line. One can take Exit 1 or 3 if you don't have luggage as you have to climb up many stairs. You can use Exit 2 if you have luggage as you can count on an escalator there but you just have to cross the road to reach the hotel once you exit. The hotel has grocery, medical stores nearby that can be reached in less than 5 mins on foot. 2. Facilities. The room is self contained with a kicthen, refrigerator, washing machine (but this is the only down side I have to mention because it does not dry clothes fully), hair dryer, TV (but has a very few channels all of which Japanese, I wish there were a couple of English channels like CNN) and of course AC. 4. The whole facility is very clean and comfortable. Except that we were asked to keep the suitcases on a designated 2x3 sq ft space on the floor in front of the stove platform which is no way sufficient enough. It makes it even worse if you have 2 to 3 suitcases/bags. Overall, space seems to be a constraint in Japan wherever you go and in that sense, this issue may not be unique to Cocoro. 5. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. 6. The manager lady was very friendly and took pain to explain to us on the Do's and Don'ts to make us understand though language was a barrier. 7. She ensured there were enough of towels on a daily basis, umbrellas for our use. We relied on her umbrellas for full two days. Else we would have had to not only buy them but also carry them back adding to our luggage.

1. Steps are little steep. If you have heavy baggage you may have a challenge. There don't seem to be rooms at ground level. 2. The room is right on the road side. Though the noise insulation is great, you will still feel the vehicular movement noise but it is manageable to still sleep undisturbed. 3. If the hotel provided drinking water dispenser it would be very helpful. We had to buy drinking water every day from the nearby grocery store and that is a hassle especially when you return to the room at the end of the day fully tired. 3. The washing machine is a top loading one, it can't dry the clothes 100% even with 'air dry' function. And this is a problem because the room has no provision or space to hang them dry. This makes effectively washing machine unusable. You will find it to be an issue if your stay is longer and have the need to wash. 4. This is not a negative rather a couple of suggestions. It is best to use Google Search with camera, take a pic of the Japanese instructions on the appliances and manage. For e.g. the use of bidet, the bathroom exhaust settings, AC remote, washing machine. We did this all over in Japan including sign boards, dialogue with shopfloor assistants, navigating for commute etc.

Everything was wonderful during our stay. Thank you for hosting us, and we hope to stay again in the future.

The hotel was really clean and well equipped. It is located close to a train station and a supermarket. The staff was friendly too.
