COCORO HOTEL

Good location, quiet and right next to the subway station. The room was pretty big, with a washing machine and a little kitchen.

Most of the time, nobody was working at the reception. We could not ask questions (ex: where to put our trash?). There is no elevator, we had to bring our luggages up the stairs. There was no room cleaning service during our stay.

The hotel was literally next to the train station. The subway line has an elevator so even if you have luggage, it would be easy to get on and off the train station. The property was very clean and quite spacious. It had everything in it. The location is quite good too. Close to a lot of places. Just a train ride to the Gion area. It is also pretty close to Kyoto station. You do need to transfer though, but pretty short trip. There are also a couple of restaurants around the hotel. Plus, a lawson next to the train station. Best of all, the staff are very nice and accommodating. I was able to leave my luggage before check in time.

They don’t have an elevator but it wasn’t an issue with me personally. I am able to carry my luggage up and down the stairs.

I liked that the toilet was separated from the shower. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean. It had a microwave if you wanted to buy food in 7eleven and heat it up. It has washing machine if you need to do laundry. It's also 1min walk from the subway.

There was never anyone at the desk. The wifi didn't work and we couldn't ask why. Also the stairs are high and narrow so, the place really needs an elevator. After all the walking you've to do in Kyoto, the last thing you need is walk 2,3 or 4 flights of stairs. Also to carry your luggage up is very hard. For the more mature visitors, I do not reccommend.

big (for Japanese standard) and clean room. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable we had in Japan. We are traveling by bikes and were happy that we were able to park our bikes indoor at the reception.

Hotel was 1 block away from subway exit. Very convenient. Room no 205 was a good size one. I was expecting small room based on what I read about Japan. It had a sizable table with chair. One double bed and one single bed. Separate toilet, bath room, kitchenette with cooking facilities etc. It it much better than the place I stayed in Osaka, though Osaka place was expensive to this. There were few shops around walking distance for lunch and dinner. Lawson shop was next to subway exit. I would recommend this to anyone.

Nothing to complain about. There were some limit on hot water available during the day but noted we only used 1/3 of it. So it was not a problem at all.

Very comfortable equipment in the room. The location is not too far from the attractions as there is the subway station (Misasaki Station) which is next to the hotel.

There is no any restaurant nearby the hotel. Luckily, there is Lawson next to the hotel that save our lives.
