Woodlands Hotel

The staff were friendly and welcoming the hotel itself unfortunately not pleasant me and my son stopped here as he had an appointment the very next day so we needed to be close by for this appointment. The hotel could do with money being spent it needs a complete upgrade. Just telling you what we thought I even had to ask the staff for help to get the heating on as our room was cold we wouldn't stop here again.

My opinion what I have already made comments on above.

Went for a wedding. Just be prepared to pay through the nose for drinks. £39 for a bottle of Prosecco sums the place up.

Lovely peaceful hotel

Nothing all was fab

Dining room was full, had to sit outside. Only 2 staff on duty. One poor girl was really feeling unwell. No cups, no glasses for juice, no orange juice. Food was mediocre and just warm when it arrived. Half baked pasties. Toast took 5 mins to brown. No melon left. Poor staff were ran off their feet. And all this was at 8:30 - 8.45.

Nice place to stay when having reception there

Couldn’t close windows but was a nice stay

We were here last night celebrating a 50th birthday. The hotel and its grounds were stunning but the staff are what makes this hotel so perfect. From the moment we checked in at reception we were made to feel welcome. The bar staff were proffesional but at the same time very down to earth especially "The singing barman" who has a cracking voice by the way. The breakfast staff were just as lovely and the food was faultless. Thankyou for a fantastic stay 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Breakfast was ok. No salt, sauces available. Had to ask for beans and toast
