Woodlands Hotel

The evening meat and breakfast were lovely. The bed was a little soft, we rolled together, the room was great and large. When traveling for work, we'll stay again.

Lovely hotel off the main road so it is a nice, private location. Lovely drive and ample parking.

It was a little noisy with drunk people arguing outside but that’s not the hotels fault.

Absolutely love this hotel a hidden gem. On the outskirts of Leeds . Great location for the city. Staff were amazing as were our room. Lovely bedding & furnishings. Amazing bathroom with a huge bath. Breakfast a little slow being served but was lovely with a great choice & well cooked. The steak in the evening was the best I’ve had in a long time. We Met the training chef who was new & I must say he turned out some fantastic food. Great bar staff & reception team lovely & welcoming. Returning next week it was that good. Thanks for a enjoyable stay

A stunning venue! Lovely stay, really comfortable bed, good shower, and nice and quiet.

Attended nephew and niece in laws wedding. Lovely venue and grounds. Lots of areas to disappear too if things get too noisy or you need to go to, or take children to a quiet area. Staff lovely and helpful. Wedding went without a hitch and wedding breakfast prepared on site and very nice too! My tables coffee was very cool when it arrived, but it was rectified immediately. Drinks priced as expected. Breakfast was a little disappointing; bacon, mushroom and black pudding dry. Maybe left under lights too long. Poached egg hard. Sausage lovely as was bread, orange and fruit salad. Again, coffee like warm, but noticed and rectified without asking. Nice pastries and staff welcoming and attentive. Stayed in room 7. Everything very nice. Good sized room and en-suite with bath. Shower was fine. Large amount of hanging and storage space and a Safe. Mattresses and pillows excellent. Zip mattress and could feel the zip. Maybe a topper would resolve this as only a mattress protector on. It did not disturb my sleep as I keep to my own side. Love the pillows. Only negative is that the room is above reception which is a conservatory type area. There is a lovely chandelier in it. It was on all night and with the glass roof it shone into my room. Curtains were fine and helped with most of it. Maybe dimming the light in reception when dark would be good. Maybe I should have asked? Minor things really and did not spoil my stay. Bottle of still and sparkling water in room. Tea tray well stocked, different teas, coffee and coffee bags, different milk sachets and biscuits. But wish I had brought hot chocolate as I retired at 9pm. Kettle maybe needs a rethink as a little dangerous. If lead was longer it would fit in the tea tray, which had a lip in so would not slide off. Unfortunately I had to place it right on the edge of the dressing table, next to an opening door. Maybe an accident waiting to happen. Definitely a recommended venue to hold a special occasion and stay.
