Woodlands Hotel

We were visiting family in the area and were delighted to find The Woodlands has doggy friendly rooms. There were private parties booked during our stay and Sarah took the time to make sure we were aware of this in advance; making sure we had a room away from the event space. The reception was very busy upon our arrival, being used as a drinks receptin area, but the staff checked us in efficiently and ensured we had everything we needed. Our room was excellent and very clean. There was an issue with the pluming during our stay but the duty manager (Sarah again) did everything she could to get this sorted and minimise its impact on our stay. This is a beautiful hotel but it was the way we were looked after which will make us book again!

My daughter, Eryn and Phil got married here on 30.1.26. I just wanted to thank you so much Sarah, for all you and your colleagues, Jess and Mark did, to make my daughter’s wedding day, the most wonderful day. This included booking dinner for family, the evening before and sending menus etc, together with all you did on the day itself. Jess was amazing with her effortless planning and Mark, did a fantastic job, the Master of Ceremonies. Myself, my husband Steve, together with Eryn and Phil, appreciated your attention to detail, kindness and wonderful staff, which made the day run so smoothly and nothing was too much trouble. It was an amazing day and we can’t thank you enough. Wonderful memories made.

Amazing! Rooms so clean and comfortable. Ordered room service breakfast and it exceeded expectations, nice and hot, good quality food. Nice and peaceful out of the centre but only a taxi ride away if you want to go into the city

No hot water in the shower in the morning unfortunately. Otherthan that, beautiful place.
