Altus Hotel & Spa

There was a nice pool with salt water and a nice jacuzzi. The spa facilities are nice. The hamam has a nice vibe.

The shower did not have a sewer or a door, so the water was all over the bathroom floor. Therefore, the bathroom door was swollen.

It's a nice hotel with a good restaurant, nice spa facilities and decent rooms. The food at the restaurant was tasty and well cooked and the staff very pleasant. The Spa and pools were clean, well maintained and up to temperature, with places for both adults and kids. the room was well kept and furnished with all the necessities, but on the small side.

The rooms had a problem with the humidity - in our room there was a dehumidifier that ran constantly and extracted large amounts of water during our stay; also the AC controls did not work , it seemed like the temp was controlled per the entire hotel and during the evening it was very hot in the room. The bathroom had one of those walk-in showers that meant a lot of water splashed and got all over the bathroom floor and took a lot of time to dry out. The restaurant was understaffed, most of the time only a single waiter , which meant long wait times to order, deliver and get anything else extra if you forgot when ordering. Minor nit-picks in the grand scheme of things but none the less detracts from the overall experience.

Food

unfriendly staff exception one Girl from the reception and one lady from the kitchen , the airconditioner very noisy, smell mold în the dining room, there are no separate towels, slippers and bathrobe in the room for the spa. În the shower the Water going in the whole bathrom because of wrong construction.

location is ok. nearby restaurants (2-3 mik walk) with good food which are better than their own restaurant. breakfast ok.

the staff was not friendly (maybe to Romanian guests?), had to insist on getting information and the receptionist was quite upset on us asking about the spa, the breakfast, how to reach the room, spa etc. the receptionist was visibly upset because we asked for slippers and a robe for the spa.

Spacious rooms, friendly staff, good spa, great breakfast

No elevator, but not problem for me, its only 2 floors
