Very kind staff and willing to give useful information for tourists. The room is clean, big enough, equipped with everything you need. Good breakfast served in a pleasant atmosphere. I found parking on the street, nearby.

I am Bulgarian and my partner is North American - we travelled Bulgaria in the summer and we will long remember this hidden gem of a hotel! First things first - unlike most Bulgarian accommodations, the bathroom here has a bathtub! The floor does not get water-flooded when taking a shower - what a relief! We occupied a front room overlooking the street, it had a brand new air condition / heating unit( installed few months prior, as told by the cleaning staff ) and the air felt fresh and pleasantly cool with outside temperatures hitting 40 that week. The linens were beautiful cotton and the mattresses were comfortable for us. Bonus - long beds for very tall guests! Joro, the owner, is as hard working and genuine as they come, and his hospitality truly shines. He makes a breakfast for champions, served at a time of your choosing. Variety and quantity abundant enough, we had to ask for less :) The hotel is in a heritage house. Beds, tables, chairs and other furniture are sourced from high-end places, some period specific, others from world renowned furniture makers, giving the hotel its boutique look and feel. The owners are art lovers, and have, over the years, collected art pieces that are displayed in the common areas and the hotel rooms. We cherished the feel of the place - one of walking in a private art gallery with much to discover at each corner. Overall, a European class hotel ( reminds me of Montmartre) in a small town like Vidin - will return and wholeheartedly recommend!

We had a very unfriendly welcoming at the hotel and finally, the owner asked us to leave and refused accommodation. He claimed, we would have made his room dirty just because we asked the question if there is a facility in his hotel which we can use to eat our own food. I will not recommend his hotel. There are other nice hotels around.
