Семеен Хотел Старият град

Location is perfect, in the middle of Vidin. Bed was comfy, we slept like babies, to wake up for a decent breakfast. We had a minor problem with the room, and the owner immediately arranged everything.

WiFi slow.

The hotel is a real gem with big rooms in the city center, near Danube. We took one apartment and parked across the hotel. The owner received us and gave us all details about the hotel and surroundings. You can choose between hot and cold breakfast. Definitely worth staying.

We liked everything, just for awareness the apartment does not have kitchenette.

When a friend visiting from overseas wanted to see the Belogradchik Fortress & Rocks, we looked for places with good reviews in the area and this hotel kept popping up, so we decided to stay two nights and just drive to Belogradchik one day. I'm so glad we did! Here is what we liked about our stay: 1) We loved the vibe in the hotel. My friend especially loved all the decorations/art on the walls and the furniture. We felt as if we were visiting family and staying at their house. 2) Related to the previous point, having breakfast at the hotel felt like having breakfast at my parents' house. The owner asked us what we'd like and at what time, and when we got up, breakfast, fresh fruit, and coffee/tea/nectar were waiting for us in the adorable dining room. 3) The owner is a fantastic person! He confirmed with us when we were arriving and helped us secure parking in front of the hotel. He also shared so much about the history of the hotel and Vidin. If I'm ever back in town, I know where I'm staying again. 4) The hotel is centrally located and a short walk from the Danube river, the park, and Baba Vida Fortress. It made exploring really easy, especially since we had a short visit. A couple of additional notes: the WiFi was strong and the bathroom has a separate shower space.

Other than a leftover drink and food container in the fridge (missed from the previous occupants), everything was perfect.

Everything was perfect. The room was elegant, very nice decorated and clean. The breakfast was so tasty ( we recomand the omlet) and we could choose the time to be served. A big thanks to our hosts, very welcoming and helpfull. We deffenetly recommend this hotel for everyone ( single, familly or couple). The location in more than perfect, few minutes way from Danube river ( yoy can catch the sunrise every morning ) and right in the town center. The railway station is pretty close either.

Small hotel right on the edge of the town centre, close to promenade and shops. Very friendly and helpful staff. Tea/coffee making facilities. Nice breakfast. Lots to see in town. Secure bike storage with receptionist 😀.
