Los dueños fueron encantadores y nos ayudaron mucho a diseñar nuestro viaje y sacar el mejor partido de nuestra estancia en corcovado. El lugar está muy limpio y la comida muy rica. Tiene servicio de lavandería. Se ve el corazón que los dueños ponen en detalles como las toallas dobladas en formas de animales y otras formas bonitas. Muchas gracias. Se pueden ver animales desde el balcón.

Room is clean, has mosquitoe nets, but get the room with air con to keep the mossies at bay. Arriving at Drake's Bay by car is by dirt road by SUV/4wd. Small village, lovely beach, getway village to diving and to the National Park. The owner is very nice and helpful, She is happy to serve you the included breakfast at 6am, not to miss out as all the tours and dives leave faily early. gorgeous birds in the forest in front of your room. There's a little fridge and kettle in the room too, which is handy.

Location: This is at the top of the hill abutting the jungle. From your room or the dining hall you can look out over the trees and see many birds and monkeys without any effort. It's a short walk to the beach (~10 minutes) and within 2-10 minutes walking distance to restaurants. Staff: Mayela was kind, helpful, and accommodating. Food: We only had breakfast but we enjoyed our gallo pinto + eggs without fail. Most importantly, they work hard to ensure you can still enjoy your included breakfast even though the tour groups leave so early (5-6AM!). Room: Our room was clean, simple, and homey. I was so glad we sprung for air conditioning. We had no bugs in our room and slept very well with the A/C. Do be prepared for occasional outages anywhere in Drake Bay. The surges/outages that we experienced during our stay were very short lived. Be prepared that the bathrooms and furnishings may look dated compared to places in the USA, but everything was clean and functional. WiFi: I spent a full day working during our stay and the WiFi kept me going the whole time. Value: I found our stay to be a great value thanks to our fulfilling breakfasts, A/C anytime, and the clean and well-maintained facilities

We loved our stay so I only have very minor feedback to provide. I saw another reviewer comment that they wished there were more places to put belongings. I felt our room was sufficient, but I do agree hooks on the walls & behind doors would take the accommodations to the next level. (This was exacerbated because the over-the-door style hooks in our bathroom wobbled and couldn't actually hold the towel.) I also would recommend the addition of lamps by the bedsides for reading without the bright overhead light.
