Ceiba lodge

This hotel looks more like a guesthouse, with very friendly owners. We got a pickup and drop off to the boat from/to Sierpe. Breakfast from an open restaurant with a view at the (back) garden where you can enjoy toucans and monkeys. No problem to have a very early breakfast if you need to go on a trip. They are very flexible! We enjoyed staying at this place and explored Drake Bay and Corcovado NP from here.

The staff is super nice, rooms have a balcony in the forest and you can also spot monkeys, iguanas and others while having breakfast in the morning. Also they accommodated our request of having breakfast early to depart to Corcovado. The restaurant also serves good food.

Nothing really!!

Our room was extremely clean and the bed was SO comfortable, which was very appreciated after two long days hiking in Corcovado. We were picked up from the beach straight off the boat and helped with our bags. The family were all very welcoming and super helpful. They owned a bakery and we sampled the cakes and pastries which were delicious! Walking distance to everywhere in drake bay. And all at a very low price. I would recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful time in Drake. Chiba Lodge is brilliant if you are looking for budget accommodation...very basic but clean, comfortable. Our room had AC and the breakfast was delicious...a choice of 6 options. Owner really friendly and helped us to boom trips with Drake Divers which is right next door. Also, the bakery above the accomodation made lovely brioche, bread, cookies etc...Great for taking to the beach.

Nothing....loved the whole Drake Bay experience

Very friendly and very helpful staff. Helped us to organize great trips in the vicinity. We were picked up at the boat stop, the staff organized that the very early bus for continuing our trip stopped in front of the lodge.

We liked everything.
